Mariana Cornea is an artist who projected her paintings into a European dimension and beyond. Following her studies in Cluj, she studied in Vienna where she currently lives and works. She also lived in Italy for a long time, where she had many exhibitions.
Her works are informal but also inclined to more demanding communication. In fact, ‘All seeing Eye’, although not using any icons, is almost figurative, through its symbolic colors, red and bright-white, and through the spreading of its colors, which suggests a metaphysical element.

The artist has a sensitive nature of lyric poetry, she is constantly concerned with deep harmony and lightness, with musical quality of the tones, filtered very subtly, capable of meaningful epitomizing a wide range of emotions, from uncertainty and enigma to blue-sky and exuberance.
